Cedric had always wanted to be one of the great knights of the Round Table. However, he never got the chance. He was dismissed by several other knights. Over the years Cedric turned vile, cruel and cunning. He was a creature of darkness, no longer believing in the Great King. He began to terrorize the towns. Claiming that the people will know his name. He would be as great as king Arthur.
Lancelot was one of King Arthur’s greatest knights. Therefore it was only fitting that he should be tasked with the job of finding the vile Cedric. Lancelot was horseback at once, riding through the last town Cedric had vandalized. Looking around the broken wagons, burned pens, and maybe other things, Lancelot realized that finding Cedric might be a harder task than he realized. That was until an arrow went past his ear. Lancelot turned his horse and ran in the onsite direction where the arrow came from. That was until another arrow hit Lancelot knocking him off of his horse. It didn’t kill him though, his armor provided enough protection. A hooded figure stepped out of the smoke from a small fire. His face hidden.
“State thy name stranger!” Lancelot roared. The figure began to laugh, then pulled off his hood to revile it was the vile Cedric himself.
” I am the devil himself.” A sinister laugh echoed off the walls. Instead of allowing to Lancelot to recover Cedric disappeared. Lancelot spent years chasing the foolish Cedric. Each time he came close to catching him, he’d disappear.
