My least favorite subject used to be history when I was younger. Then I started doing this Homeschool curriculum and history finally started to get interesting. I could see how much it influences everything. From the shows and movies we watch to the books we read. But I’m not here to talk about my favorite subject, I’m supposed to talk about my least favorite subject. Which in science. As of now it’s the most boring subject to me, the only science I like is if I get to use my hands and make something or if it involves animal science. I want to go to college to become a veterinarian. I know science is important and there really are cool parts to it but the rest is boring to me. I don’t want to sound hateful. It’s just my opinion that certain parts of science are boring.
Another subject that I dislike is math. Like science there are certain parts that are great and I understand it better than I used to. However there are other parts that seem way too crazy for me. I know that I need math to help me in life, however there are certain parts I’m sure I’ll never use in the line of work I want to go into. Before I started homeschooling math was my number 1 enemy. I’m still traumatized from trying to figure out the homework before I was homeschooled. I remember having to come back and redo all the work plus a whole other worksheet because I might’ve gotten the answers but I didn’t do the work the way they showed me. Now everytime I hear the word math, or see that I have to do math for something I try to avoid it like the plague. If I can get out of doing math more than what’s required of me, I will.
In conclusion I understand why I have to do these subjects and why I need them but it doesn’t mean I have to like them when I do them.
Cool!
