This is a stupid name for this post, but I’m not feeling creative, besides I do have an idea and I want to see where it goes. So there is this big black dog hanging around our house for the past couple of days. He’s been eyeing out goat. So obviously he’s probably trouble. I don’t was him to eat out goat. Anyway, a couple of days ago he was sitting up on one of the hills at our house, I swear he was watching us. He was just sitting there his ears perked up. Have I mentioned that he was big? I think I did but just in case I’m saying it again. That’s not the creepy part, the creepy part is that a few crows were circling him. So then I got this idea for a story, yes, I get idea’s for stories in the most random and sometime creepy situations. Can you blame me though? I think this will be a good one. I’m not sure yet. Ok, by now you are either bored with what I have to say or your thinking get on with it. Well my idea is what if this man and his wife just moved into the man’s father’s ranch and on that ranch there was this dog, well what if the dog haunting them, because of something the man’s family did years ago. But only members of that family can be haunted and if they are currently staying or living at that ranch. Anyone else who lived at that ranch was fine. And I know I said that I would work on that one zombie apocalypse story thing I had going but, I think I might give up on it and work on this short story. Now here’s the thing, should I post what I have of the story written so far? Do you the people who chose to read this want a sneak peak of it? Comment if you do, if you don’t then I shall leave it a mystery   until I’ve written all of it. *Evilly laughs as I disappear into the darkness and into my hobbit hole which I  chose to come out from*

I don’t know why I put that but I thought it would be funny. I think one of my other personalities took over. Which personalty you may ask? The one with a very bad taste in humor.

I finally cam up with a name for the story, now instead of A Story part 5 I will just put the title: Apocalypse of 2020. What I’ve posted for you guys isn’t much but I will post more as soon as I think of what happens next. Which could take a while,

Ava

I had to get away, when I was watching the boys fight I felt helpless. I hate that feeling, I wanted mom back…I wanted to feel her comfort, to smell her perfume, to hear her voice. Ava, I love you now GO! Those were the last words mom had said before she…she got eaten, my eyes got teary, I wiped the tears away and continued walking.  The clouds were starting to come together, making everything look a little bit darker, which didn’t improve my mood much. I have no clue where I was going, I had not yet had the chance to look around town, I couldn’t stop thinking about when I kissed Jason. I shake my head, I can’t think about that right now, I just had to go, I had to be alone. 

But that wish didn’t last forever. As soon as I make it past the church, I run into some zombies. I reach for my bat only to realize that I left it back at the high school, I curse, and run into the church. I baccarat myself in the church, but I know that the door won’t hold for long. I run up into the choir loft, and hope that I’m safe. Oh, why was I so stupid to  leave my bat back at the high school? I was freaking out, how was I going to get out of this one? I hear the door crack open. I scream, I was about to jump out the window when something grabbed me, 

“AH! AH! Let me go! AHHH!” I screamed bloody murder, 

“Ava! Ava! It’s ok, it’s me Jason! Ava calm down!” I turn around, now facing Jason,

“Jason! Oh my god! It’s you!” I hug him, but then I pull away quickly,

“Sorry,” I say,

“It’s fine,” he said hugging me back, “So what do you say that we go back to the tree house” He said smiling,

“I’d love that,” I say. The blood on Jason’s nose had completely dried up and his eye was starting to blacken,

“Jason, your nose,” He seems to remember that fact that he’d just been in a fight,

“Right, well I didn’t have time to think about that at the moment, all I cared about was looking for you” That last comment had filled me with warmth. 

“That’s really sweet of you Jason,” I replied, I grabbed Jason’s hand and we walked out of the church, rain was coming down lightly and it was getting colder. 

“Come on,” I say, urging Jason to move faster, we finally make it back to the tree house, Benjamin is sitting on the couch, glaring at me and Jason. 

“I see you found her,” He said coldly,

“And I will have no regrets about feeding you to the zombies” I say, hes eyes widened in panic. I kind of strut passed him and entered my room to change. When I walk out again, I see that Jason has changed also, Emily and Ryan sat on the far end of the couch, Jason picked a chair next to the couch and sat down. I walked over to Jason and sat down  next to him on the floor, I crossed my legs.

“So…I’m guessing until we can build another bedroom Benjamin is sleeping on the couch?” I say breaking the silence, Ryan and Emily shake their heads,

“I really didn’t want him here” Ryan said giving Benjamin a dirty look,

“Same” said Emily, I turn to Jason, he shifted uncomfortably, I could tell he didn’t like everyone staring at him,

“Well…I don’t know, I guess he could stay. But on the other hand he’s a pain in the butt. So…I guess I’m saying that I don’t want him here either” Everyone turns to me,

“You guys want the truth?” I ask, everyone nods,

“I think Benjamin is a no good dirty little weasel two devers to be fed to the zombies, but he’s a human, he’s alive, don’t any of you guys want your normal lives back?” There was a stunned silence, everyone knew I was right no matter who he was, he was still human. And maybe if we were under different stercumstanses then I would probably not be giving my friends a grand speech about he’s a human and whatnot.  

“So…he stays?” Emily asks,

The whole year has been crazy, the summer here in New Mexico was hot, and there’s been little rain……some of you may know what that means…..it means that Voldemort is back! The sighs are obvious! So if you ever think about coming to New Mexico just be careful…. he’s out there!

So I know it’s been a while since I have posted any more of this story but I have posted some more and I hope you guys like it!

Emily

Ava and Jason were gone for a really long time, Ryan had just gotten done lecturing  me about what I had said to Ava, I was really sorry about that, it’s just I tend to blurt things out sometimes and it gets me into a lot of trouble,

“And therefore Emily you should be nice to Ava, like Jason said, she’s been through a lot,”  I nod,

“As soon as Ava and Jason get back I’ll apologize to her, I promise”  

“ If they do get back,” Ryan said,

“Of course they’ll come back! What are you talking about?” I say,

“Well, Emily THIS is a zombie apocalypse for all we know they could have been EATEN!!” That thought scared me, but what scared me even more was the thought of me and Ryan as the only two left. This apocalypse made me realize just how important our life really is, sure I knew it was important but, now I realize it more than ever, I shudder at the thought of it just being me and Ryan,

“Ryan, don’t say stuff like that, I’m sure that Ava and Jason are fine, but just in case let’s go and check on them,” Ryan shrugged and we went down the rope ladder, we head off towards the direction of Ava and Jason, we find them under a tree, Jason was houlding Ava, as she cried. How sweet, I thought.

“Aww, that’s cute!” Ryan said, Jason and Ava looked up,

“It’s not what it looks like!” Jason said, very startled, Ava’s face colored,

“Yeah, what he said” Ava says, standing up and holding out her hand to Jason, he takes it and stands up. 

“We were just worried, we thought you guys had been eaten by zombies, instead, we found you two like this!” I laugh a little, 

“It’s ok, we won’t hold anything against you two,” I say,

“Well, you might let this go, but I’m not going to let this go!” Ryan says with a smirk, Ava and Jason’s faces both turn red,

“Let’s just go back to the tree house and get some sleep”  We all walked back to the tree house, Ava had lagged behind, I joined her, 

“I’m sorry, about what I’d said earlier” I say,

“No hard feelings, sometimes I feel that way to, but I try to keep positive”  Ava said, I nod,

“Yeah I could probably use some positivity, every now and then” 

“Yeah, for sure!” Ava says. A week went by, and we had started to make the tree house our home, we added on to the tree house now everyone has their own room, we have a bathroom which is a bucket, in an extra room that we built, not the best toilet in the world but it works for now at least. While the boys were out getting more food, they also brought back a couch, Ryan tried to prove how strong he was, which didn’t work out too well. He landed on his back and it took me, Ava, and Jason, to get the couch off of him. 

We finally got the couch into our living room. Which added a nice touch to the room. We added windows, which made everything a lot nicer. We tried to not use the truck as much since there was no way for us to get more fuel. It was Ava’s turn to clean out the bucket, she stormed out of the bathroom a threw the bucket at Jason’s head,

“I’m- done -with- the- bucket!!” She said, 

“Grosse!” Jason said,

“Relaxe, I cleaned the bucket, but that’s the last time! I’m done! We’re going to build an outhouse!”  

“You heard the woman! To the store!”  Ryan said, I shake my head,

“This is the people I live with, oh boy, I’ve survived this long” 

“Hey Emily, why don’t you and Ryan go to grab some more food and clothes, and me and Jason will take the truck to grab the supplies we need in order to make the outhouse.” I nod, the only thing I hated was me and Ryan having to go get food. We went down the rope ladder and went our separate ways, in order to get more clothes we had to go to the mall, which is one of my least favorite places. We walked, only pausing to avoid a pack of zombies, they were everywhere, the day was sunny and overall nice, it gave off a happy feeling that didn’t mix well with a zombie apocalypse, I missed my parents, I’m sure all of us did, but we all tried to become a family and put a positive spin on this apocalypse thing. We finally made it to the mall, we go inside and climb the stairs,

“So, since it’s a zombie apocalypse, does that mean I can eat all the Doritos I want?” Ryan asked, I look at him,

“What goes there your head is behind me,” I say,

“Hey, have you ever thought about what happened to the birds? I mean in all of the zombie apocalypse books and movies, no one ever thinks about the birds, what if they got zombified! And it could be just as bad for humans! They could swoope out of the sky and atack us or, or, the zombie birds, could just be targeting all of the other birds! A zombie bird apocalypse! That’s what it is! I bet you!” Ryan said,

“Who gave you a concussion?” I ask,

“Probably Ava, but that was a week ago, this is just the normal amazing me!” I shake my head, this guy is so…weird, flat out weird. We grab a mall bag and shove it full of clothes.

“Next the grocery store,”  I say, we head for the stairs, Ryan hopes on the railway, and slides down it,

“Your turn, “ he said,

“Um…no, I’m just going to take the stairs,” I reply, Ryan sighs, and we head for the grocery store. There Ryan starts to talk some more, which drives me crazy,

“What if I eat a whole bucket of candy? What would happen if  my parents came back to being themselves, and saw that I had eaten a whole bucket of candy? What would you think they’d do?” What goes through his head?  

“If your parents hate you eating that much candy, then they’d probably be mad at you,” I say, I turn down an aisle and grab some canned food,

“That’s the wrong answer, I would throw up all over the place, and then and ONLY then, would my parents be mad,”  

“Ok, next question, because it’s an apocalypse does that mean I can drink all the soda I want?” That’s it! I’ve had it with this guy! I’m go down the bread aisle and grab a package, I put it in the grocery bag, then I open another package,

“If you don’t SHUT-UP I will decapitate you with this peace of bread!” I say, holding up the piece of bread in front of his face,

“You don’t even know how, so ha!” Ryan said,

“I might not, but I can find out!” I yell, Ryan runs, and I chase after him, throwing pieces of bread at him, I’m finally able to pin him down and I start to beat him with the bread. 

“OW, OW, OW, STOP!! THAT HURTS” Ryan said, I finally give up on using the bread and I punch him in the eye, I get off of him and continue to grab more food, once I’m done I help him up, he was quiet for the rest of the trip. Which I was VERY happy with. 

                             

          Ava

Emily and Ryan came up the rope ladder. The first thing I noticed was that Ryan had a black eye, and he had pieces of bread stuck in his hair?  Which was not an normal thing, then again, my hair wasn’t looking too good either,

“Wow what happened to you?” I ask Ryan,

“Emily, hit me with pieces of bread, then she punched me” He grumbles,

“Well in my defense you keep talking and it was annoying!” Emily said,

“Ok you two lets just calm down, ok. Tomorrow we will get started with the outhouse” Emily and Ryan were staring at me now,

“So what happened to you?” Ryan said, 

“What do you mean?” I ask,

“Your hair!” Ryan said,

“Well, um you see it’s a really funny story” I say, “I was wrestling a zombie” I shrug, Emily and Ryan’s eye widen in alarm,

“Why did you do that?” Ryan asked, I shrug,

“It got to close to the truck” They both nods in understanding, a couple of days go by, I really wanted go to the high school,

“How about we go to the high school?” I say,

“Sounds like a plan!” Ryan said, coming out of his room, we all climb down the rope ladder, Ryan and Emily take the lead towards the high school, I lage behind again, Jason stays by my side, he never spoke of what happened the night under the tree, I didn’t either, sure it was no big deal but I usually don’t let people touch me or hold me, unless it was my mom or grandma and that was it. It felt weird being in someone’s arms that were so strange to me, I liked it but I didn’t at the same time. Why? Was my only question, I’m sure the hug meant nothing, so why did I keep thinking about it? Was Jason thinking about it too? Or did he just move on and pretend it was nothing? I was also glad that Ryan hadn’t made a big deal out of it like he said he was going to, in fact it seems like everyone had forgotten about it…everyone except for me. I really wish I could talk to mom right about now, she’d know what to say and know exactly what I was feeling because I sure as hell didn’t know. Jason had to stop me before I ran into the door, 

“Whoa, watch where you’re going, or you’re gonna hit your head!” he said,

“Ah, sorry, just lost in thought I guess” I shrug and Jason smiles at me. What! Why are you smiling at me? What’s wrong with you? I frown at him,

“What’s so funny?” I ask,

“Nothing, you just always seemed to be wrapped up in your thoughts” Jason said. True but how did he know that? HOW? 

“ I’m always wrapped up in my thoughts, it not like that was a new thing” I push the doors of the school open, stepping to the side, so everyone can enter, 

         Ryan

It was so FREAKING OBVIOUS!  Ava and Jason like each other! I’ve known it for a week, a week people! And the worst part about it is THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW THAT THEY LIKE EACH OTHER WHEN IT’S SO FREAKING OBVIOUS! Once Ava and Jason are inside, I pull Emily aside and start to talk to her in a low tone,

“Have you noticed it?” I ask her,

“Noticed what? Ryan you’re being weirder than normal! What’s wrong with you?” She studieds me, her green eyes are basically piercing into my soul, it’s scary,

“The fact that Ava and Jason like each other, they just won’t admit it! And it’s driving me nuts! We have to find a way to make them see that they like each other! Right here now right now! I can’t take it anymore, I’ve noticed it for a week!” Ava and Jason turn towards us,

“Are you two coming or not?” Ava asked, 

“Yes we are,” Emily said, we followed them, just a safe enough distance away so we could talk, I remember the halls of the school, so full of life, paper airplanes, and spit wads, not good, I’d alway end up with one or two in my hair. I remember the mean ancient teaches that worked at this school,  I swear that they lived back in the nineteen hundreds,   

“Ok, I’ve noticed it too but YOU are going to let me handle this. If you try you’ll just screw the whole thing up!”  I put my hand on my heart,

“Ouch! Fine, I’ll let you take over,” I say. She’s a control freak! That’s what she is! She’s a mean person, a control freak, and freaking scary! 

“Good” Emily said, she walks up to Ava Jason,

“So, in order to cover more ground, we need to split up, you two go one way, and me and Ryan will go another. Deal?” Ava shook her head. What’s wrong with that plan! 

“Let’s not split up, just in case we run into zombies, besides I’m the only one who has brought a weapon. It’s better if we stay together,”  I sigh, Emily came back towards me,

“We’ll have to try something else,” she says with a shrug, I refuse to let them win!

“You have to be forceful, like this” I say, 

“Emily is right Ava we should split up,” Ava gave me a dirty look, whoa, you might want the track that back in, 

“Sounds like a plan, ok? You guys got to the left and me and Emily will go to the right, Ok? Ok byeeee!” I push Emily ahead of Ava and Jason, and turn to the right, I shove Emily into a nearby classroom, closing the door behind me. I shoved Emily with such force that she starts to fall, she tries to regain her balance. She grabs my t-shirt but instead of regaining her balance Emily just took me down with her and I landed on top of her,

“Ah!” I said,

“Um, could you get off of me,” Emily said, the way she had said it made it sound like a question,

“Is that a question? Or a demand?” I ask,

“Depends,” she said with a smirk. Oh! Oh! Oooohhhh my god! Did she just? Is she just? Do I? What the hell? What’s going on?  I glup,

“Ha ha, you’re funny!” I said,

“No, I’m serious,” her face WAS dead serious. Oh man!  Ok, Maybe she wasn’t that mean more like…kind of…funny not scary, in fact she’s kind of pretty, her green eyes stand out with her black hair, she wasn’t even like a control freak, I can’t believe I thought that about her. I get off of Emily and help her up,

“How about we go, and see if there’s anyone in here?” I ask,

“That sounds like a plan!”  Emily says with a smile, her smile was really pretty too, OH MY GOD! DO I LIKE EMILY! This could be really bad or really good!

      Jason

Me and Ava took the left, which led down another hallway, each door we passed we would look in each room. 

“Ryan and Emily were sure acting pretty weird weren’t they?” Ava asked,

“Yeah, I mean, Ryan is always weird that’s just how he is, but Emily, she’s not that kind of person,” I say,

“Yeah, it’s strange, it’s  like they’re setting up something,” she said, 

“Yeah,” We turned towards the gym, I hated P.E. I swear the teacher is out to get me, he always pushed me harder than the others, I open the door,

“After you my lady!” I say, goofing around. That was stupied, absolutely stupied the stupidest thing I’d ever done! Why-did- I-say- that?  Just why? Apparently I’m in luck because Ava laughs, her laugh was really pretty. I’d head it when we were under the tree, but that was just a little laugh, not like this one Ava laughed so hard that she almost fell over, I’m not that funny am I?

“Am I that funny?” I ask her,

“Um…well…it’s just that I haven’t laughed in awhile since… under the tree, and when you said that,I imagined you in some type of knight in shining armour getup, and it made me laugh,” She mentind the night under the tree, really it was nothing but a hug, so why can I not stop thinking about it? Was it the fact that it felt weird but awesome when Ava was that close to me? Did she think it was nothing, or something? Was it? Was it not? I hate not knowing, but…ok I’ve got nothing, I jump when I hear a low moan. My gym teacher shuffles out of his office, his gym clothes had been torn lucky not enough to show anything, Ava pulled out her bat and looked at me,

“So, whatta lock him in his office?” She asked, I smile,

“Sure, let’s do this,” Mr. Smith shuffles towards us, I grab the mop, ok what’s up with me and always grabbing the cleaning supplies? Mr. Smith swipes at me I duck out of the way and hit him with the mop, Ava swings hitting Mr. Smith in the head I’m pretty sure that some nails got stuck in his head, he moans and goes after Ava, I put the mop right in front of his chest, then he turns on me, together me and Ava backed Mr. Smith into his office, I lock the door and lean against it, 

“Ok, I think, that’s it…for now”  Ava smiled, I slid down the door, I just sit there, and try to collect my thoughts, Ava offers her hand and I get up, 

“You, you did great, um yeah, you, you did good,” Ava clearly had something she wanted to say but couldn’t find the words, 

“Can’t find the words?” I ask Ava, she nods,

“Well really there’s no way to describe what I feel with words” she said. What?  What does she mean? Oh! Oh! Oh no! Ava got super close to me, she got on her toes and kissed me. She’s about to pull away but before I know what I’m doing I kiss her back. OH MY GOD! Did she? Did I? Did I just kiss Ava?! Did she just kiss me?! 

   Emily

Me and Ryan go down the hall and check each door we walk by, I was still trying to figure out what happened when Ryan had landed on top of me, Ryan was kind of cute in his own way, his black eye stood out with his dark hair, was it possible that his black eye made him look even cuter? Yuck! Why did I just think that about RYAN? He’s an annoying comedian who can’t take anything seriously! Maybe he’s ok, I’m lying, he super cute and I guess he’s growing on me, the more I think about Ryan’s black eye the more I feel bad for the guy,

“Hey Ryan, I just wanted to say that I was sorry, for hitting you with peace of bread and punching you, I’m really sorry,” He looks at me his grey eyes studying me,

“Yo, it’s no problem, it’s not like you tried to kill me like Ava did,” I laugh,

“Yeah, she’s pretty fierce,” Ryan nods,

“I’m glad I’m on her good side, I hate to end up like those zombies, any girl who’s brave enough to wrestle one, is a girl that I DEFINITELY want to stay on her good side” He smiles at me,

“I think this place is clear, let’s go and find Ava and Jason and hope that they’ve finally discovered that they like each other, if not that we must try harder!” Ryan waves his hand in a dramanice fashion, we both laugh, and head down towards the direction of Ava and Jason, we look in every room and we find nothing, until we get to the gym, there we find Ava and Jason, we caught them just as Jason kisses Ava back. Once they pull away, Ryan whistles,

“Whoa, so I guess our plan worked huh Emily?” I nod,

“It worked out better that I thought!” Ava and Jason blush, 

“Ok you two love birds let’s go, we still have half of the school to go through,” Ryan says, and marches off. That’s right I said march, we check every door we pass and I fear what I had told Ava was true, but we had to keep looking. We finally come up to the chemistry lab and we go in there we find  a dark figure, Ava pulls out her bat,

“Die zombie die!” she yells she charges at the figure, tackling him just like she did with Ryan a week ago when we first met, when we realize who it is, Jason pulls Ava off of the figure,

“Oh your human, sorry I tend to  make little mistakes like that,” She says with a little laugh, 

“LITTLE! Little mistakes? Really, because if I’m right this is your fifth time you thought someone was a zombie!” Ryan says,

“Hey! Me Trying to kill Jason while he was on his way to the outhouse while I was on my way out of the outhouse does not count!” Ava said, Jason rubs his head,

“I think it does, my head still hurts!”

“Are you sure you were trying to kill him? I mean for all we know you  could have been making out with him and he bumped his head on the tree,” Ryan says with a smirk, man he’s cute! Ugh, quite thinking that Emily! Ava and Jason turn red,

“Well technically our kiss in the gym was the first and only kiss we’ve had so far, so don’t be going there just yet Mr” Ava said. All this time I had forgotten about the figure, it was Benjamin. Benjamin was one of the school nerds and Lexiy’s chemistry partner, Lexiy was our mean  and popolare girl, so you get the jest. 

“Your ALIVE!” Benjamin says,

“Nice to see you to Ben,” Ryan says sarcastically. We hated him. Most nerds are super nice but NOT Benjamin Willhouse, I swear some of Lexiy’s meanness rubbed off on him. He was a skinny boy, with a mop of sandy hair on top of his head , his blue eyes were cold and fierce, he points to Ava, 

“Who is she?”      

“This is Ava, she was the new kid here, about a week ago, before all of this happened” Jason said, Ben nods,

“Why did she try to kill me? I’m a likable guy!” I shake my head he’s not, 

“Benjamin Willhouse! You’re NOT a likeable person, you made that clear on the first day of highschool!” I yell, 

“So what!” He yells back,

“I say we leave him to the zombies,”  Ryan says, 

“WHAT! Oh no your taking me with you!” Benjamin starts to come at Ryan, 

“I don’t think so” Ryan snarled, Benjamin slammed into Ryan, knocking him backwards, Ryan was stronger than Benjamin so it didn’t take long for Ryan to pin him down. Benjamin kicked and squirmed, until he was free, Jason went after Benjamin, but Benjamin was light on his feet. Soon the boys were in a huge fight. I had seen all of those movies where the guys fight and the girls are powerless and get them, so they just shriek and watch in horror and the guys fight to the death…sometimes. Apparently Ava was thinking about those movies to because she pull out her bat and yelled at the top of her lugnes,

“STOP! What the hell do you think you’re doing! If you don’t stop right now I’m gonna start swinging this bat! AND NOBODY I repeat NOBODY wants to be at the end of it because you’ll die!!  AND I ain’t afraid to spill some blood!” She was dead serious, I may or may have not taken two steps back, there’s a wild look in Ava eyes, she wasn’t lying about not being sacred about spilling some blood, the boys ignore her which only makes her even madder,  

“You want to play that game alrighty then!” She charged out into the middle of the boys, swinging her bat, she hit Benjamin who wailed in pain, but keep going, she screamed and hit Ryan, the nails in the end of in just missed his head, Ava got so mad she threw her bat down and punched Ryan and Jason they fell to the ground, then she turned her anger on Benjamin, 

“YOU! You dirty little … ” Benjamin ran out onto the hall and Ava chased him, once she caught up to him she tackled him she started to hit him with a binder, and the best part was it was a really heavy binder, once she was done with him she went back into the lab, and threw that binder at Ryan and Jason,

“YOU DESERVED IT!” She yelled, and marched out into the hall and out of the school, I laugh, now Ryan had a bloody nose, Jason had a black eye, a bloody nose and lip, Benjamin had gotten the worst of it, he was bleeding everywhere,

“I guess was should, um, help him, then go find Ava,” I said, in a quiet tone, the boys had almost forgotten I was there because they jumped,

“What do you supposed made her so mad?” Ryan said,

“I was thinking about how in most movies when the guys fight  the girls are powerless against them, maybe she was thinking the same thing and got mad?” I say, 

“Maybe” Jason said, the boys lifted up Benjamin and I grab Ava’s bat that she left behind,  the boys had carried Benjamin to the tree house, were then the put him down on the couch, he groaned,

“Shut-up” Ryan said, blood was still dripping from his nose, and his eye looks swollen,

“Why don’t you two grab the supply of water bottles and clean up, I’ll stay here and if Benjamin tries anything, then I’ll wack him in the head,” I say,

“What will you hit him in the head with?” Ryan asked,

“One of Ava’s books” I reply, Ryan nods,

“I approve” 

“Speaking of Ava I should probably go and find her,” Jason said, “I feel bad for not listening  to her and I’m scared that I’m now on her bad side,” he shudders,

“See! See! I’m not the only one who’s scared that they’re not on Ava’s good side!” Ryan said, Jason shakes his head and goes outside to look for Ava,

Jason

There was a sleeping bag it the corner of the tree house along with a bag full of food, and a few dried up leaves the place looked sad, which is how I feel, sad because my parents are gone, sad because by the looks of things nothing will be the same again, but I was glad to have Ryan here along with two VERY pretty girls. I remind myself to stop. These girls were not your typical girls, they were the ‘Normal-looking and acting till a zombie apocalypse then they’re not afraid to kick butt’ kind of girls. Emily’s hair had come out of her bun, she must’ve realized that it was a mess, 

“Hey Ava, do you have a hair brush, because I could seriously use one right now?” Ava nodded, and reached into her backpack, she pulled out a blue plastic hairbrush, and gave it to Emily. She brushed it and put it up into a ponytail. Ava was pacing back and forth, clearly thinking of something…but what she was thinking? Was she thinking of a way for everything to go back to normal? No she doesn’t seem that smart, I mean she’s smart, but not enough to be able to create something to help us…or was she that smart? Ava finally stopped and said something completely random,

“School!” 

“Excuse me?” Ryan said,

“We have to go to the school! There’s bound to be someone in there! Or trapped in there!” Emily put her hand on Ava’s shoulder, a look of sympathy on her face,

“Ava, I wish you were right, but there’s no point, you were lucky enough to find us, I don’t think we’ll have that kind of luck again.”  Ava was a stubborn girl, I knew she refused to believe that we were the only one’s left, I would have probably let her down gentler than Emily. Ava looked like she was gonna cry, she’d been through a lot, she lost her mom and worst of all she had watched what happened, which makes it even harder for her. 

“Geese Emily do you have to be so harsh?” Ryan said,

“Yeah Emily, come on, she’s been through enough she just wanted a little bit of hope, and here you go crushing that little sliver of hope!” I say, 

“Well I didn’t mean to be such a dream crusher but it’s true!” Ava, really looked like she really was gonna cry now, she goes out of the tree house and down the rope ladder, she starts to run, 

“Great, thanks Emily!” I say, I take off after Ava, I almost lost her a couple of times but I always found her again. I was mad at Emily, why would she say something like that to such a nice girl like Ava, Emily doing this makes me wonder, if she has feelings. Ava finally collapses by a tree at the end of the park, she puts her head in her hands and she begins to cry, hard, very hard. She hears me, and looks up, her face is tearstained and her eyes are already puffy,

“What are you doing here?” She asks,

“I came to make sure you were ok,” I say,

“Well I’m not, so just go!” I sit down beside her, 

“I’m not leaving, so you can either talk to me or just ignore me, but either way I’m staying,”  

“I’ll talk to you, I guess,” Ava said,

“You don’t sound to positive,” I say, she smiles a little, but then frowns again,

“I’m positive” 

“Good” I smile at her, her milky chocolate eyes study me, 

“You want to talk about it?” I ask, 

“Sure,”  She says,

“So what happened exactly?” I ask,

“Mom was telling me to get up, she said that they were coming, I didn’t know what she was talking about but I knew better than to argue with her. Once I had packed my stuff and got dressed she told me what was happening, I was so scared but I knew that as long as she was with me I would be safe. Then these zombies, circled us, mom throw a rock at one zombie it fell down, but kept going I was able to get out of the circle but mom wasn’t so lucky, I watched in horror as they teared at her flesh,” Ava paused, she must’ve been seeing all of this again, the zombies tearing at her mom’s flesh, her fear, just thinking about it made my skin crawl,

“I was so scared that I was on my own, until I met you guys. What’s your story?” Ava asked,

“I was in my room, and I heard something downstairs so I, went to go to check on my parents, they had the Coronavirus thing and I was taking care of them, they were in the kitchen, and when I went in there, I saw that they were zombie long story short, I locked them in a closet” Ava laughed a little, but immediately she got sad again, her eyes were getting teary, I pull her into a hug, and say,

“It’s going to be ok, as soon as we set Emily straight we’ll go to the high school, and maybe see if we can find someone there, ok?” She nods, and she begins to cry again, I hold her close rocking her back and forth and saying,

“It’ll be ok, it’ll be ok,” 

                 Emily

Ava and Jason were gone for a really long time, Ryan had just gotten done lecturing  me about what I had said to Ava, I was really sorry about that, it’s just I tend to blurt things out sometimes and it gets me into a lot of trouble. 

So I had did a post called A Story, well I have added on to the story that I did. Hope you Enjoy!

Ryan 

A girl with chocolate brown hair charges out of the next aisle, she comes at me and tackles me. 

“Ahhh!” I yell, she had a baseball bat with nails pointed at my face, 

“Get this freaky chick off me!” I yell, Jason and Emily pull the girl off of me. She fought them swinging her bat around, 

“Let me go! You stupid dirty zombie!” she said, she seemed mad like she had a score to settle with the zombies. 

“I’m not a zombie!” Jason said, she turned to face him,

“OMG! Your human!” 

“Yes I’m human” Jason said calmly,

“I’m so sorry, I’m not usually like this, I’m just freaked out and and my mom she’s gone those stupid brain eating monsters killed her!” And I thought you were one of them so, I tried to…to kill you I’m so so sorry” 

“It’s ok, no hard feelings” I smiled at the girl, she was really freaked out. I felt bad for her.  But I was also very scared of her. Anyone who has a baseball bat with nails in the end of it should NOT I repeat NOT be messed with. Period. End of discussion. 

“What’s your name?” Emily asks,

“Ava, what’s yours?”

“I’m Emily, this is Jason and the guy you tried to kill is Ryan” I give a slight wave, Ava takes a deep breath to try to calm down. 

“Again I’m so so sorry” she says,

“It’s fine I’m still alive right?” she nods, “See we’re good!” I say,

“So, what now?” Jason asks,

“I don’t know? Maybe we should find shelter?” Emily says,

“Already done!” Ava says with a smile, she puts her scary baseball bat back into her sheath and let’s hope that it stays there until we come across a zombie

“So where is this shelter?” I ask,

“At the park,” Ava said, she started to walk off, we walk of after her,

Ava

I walked out into the parking lot, I’m now not the only one left, I saw these kids before at school, but I was always keeping to myself, I never really wanted to talk to anyone at the school. They would spread rumors, that just hurt others. So I tended to stay in the shadows. But now more than ever I was happy to see other people. For one slight moment I felt a flash of hope, then the flash was gone, now even if we live we still are the only ones in the whole messed up plant. I took a good look at all of the vehicles, I knew how to hot wire, I just needed the perfect car or truck. Whatever caught my eye, finally I saw a big red truck. Perfect I walk over to it, there was someone inside, no wait that’s a zombie,

“Ok how am I going to do this,”  I say aloud, oh I know! I climb in the bed of the truck then I climb onto the roof, I lay on my stomach and grab the handle.  The door comes open and the zombie tumbles out, he gets up and starts to head to the others. Who were not there a second ago.  I jump down pull my bat out, I hit the zombie,

“Hey! Ugly!” I say, the thing moans and comes after me,

“I really didn’t think this through”  I said as I ran, the others got in the truck and started it, they chased after me and the zombie. Ryan opens the passenger door,

“Jump in!” He says, I give him a look, but what choice do I have? Ok this is going to be harder than I thought. I grab the handle in the inside of the truck, after a few failed attempts I’m in. I slam the door closed, lean back in the seat and sigh,

“I don’t think I came prepared for an zombie apocalypse” I say, Ryan stops the truck,

“I don’t think any of us where prepared for this,” Jason says,

“Why did you stop the truck? Is something wrong?” I ask, Ryan looks at me, 

“I’m not the best driver and I don’t want to get us killed just because I can’t drive” He gets out, “Anyone know how to drive? And is good at it?” He asks, 

“I do,” Jason says, 

“Good, then you take the wheel” Ryan and Jason change places, I hope Jason wasn’t lying about knowing how to drive, otherwise we were going to be in some serious trouble. Jason drives us back to the tree house where I had made my camp for the night, we all get out and climb the rope ladder,

I wrote a story I’m not done with it, it’s about and zombie apocalypse the that reason everyone is turning into zombies is because of COVID- 19. Here is part of the first chapter, I will add more later but I’m posting this so you guys can tell me what you think.

Apocalypse

            1

I woke to the sound of my mom telling me to get dressed and pack some clothes, I sit up and ask sleepily, 

“Why, mom it’s one o’clock it’s not even time to get up!”

“There’s no time! Get up there coming!” mom said,

“Who’s coming?” 

“No time for talking, just do what I say!” I saw fear in my mom’s eyes, I hadn’t seen her look like that since dad left, she begged him to stay, but he didn’t she didn’t know what she was going to do with a four year old girl by herself she needed someone else to help luckily she found it: my grandma, my grandma help mom out until she was back on her feet. I quickly get dressed and pack some clothes in my backpack, I slip on my brown leather jacket, and put on my lace-up boots.  I brush my hair and put into a braid, I throw my brush into my backpack. 

“Out the window hurry!” My mom says, I open the window. It’s still dark outside, everything is quiet, until I hear it, a low moaning sound, I see our neighbor shuffle across his yard, but it isn’t really our neighbor, something is wrong, so very wrong with him. 

“Mom what’s going on?”  I ask,

“Ava honey, do you know of COVID-19?” My mom says,

“Yes, it’s supposed to be a very serious virus” I reply,

“Well honey, it’s a lot worse than we thought,”

“Mom what are you saying?” I say, fear rising in my voice,

“I’m saying, that this virus is turning people into zombies”  

“We gotta get out of here, but where will we go?” I say,

“We’ll figure that out later for now let’s get out of here” We jump out of the window, we take off in a run. I hear more moaning, soon we’re surrounded by zombies, 

“Mom!” I scream,

“I know, honey I know!” she says, mom picks up a rock and throws it at a zombie, it falls down, and doesn’t even try to get up it just crawls towards me and mom, 

“Ava! Run!” Mom says, I run, I get out of the zombie circle, and look back,

“Mom! Come on!” I yell,

“No honey go, go! Find a safe place, go be free!” I watch in horror as the zombies close in on mom, they start to tear at her flesh,

“MOM!” I scream,

“Ava, I love you now GO!” I run, hard til I come to the three way store, it supplies sportswear, food, and tools. I go in and grab a wooden baseball bat, then I go to the tools aisle. I grab a hammer and some nails, I hammer the nails in the bat, and make it pointy on the end. It’s a perfect weapon. I find some sleeping bags and grab one, I find another bag and I sling it over my shoulder, I stock the bag with food, hopefully this will last me. I run out of the store and go to the park, where I know right between two trees is a giant tree house that will fit four people in it, I remember when mom used to take me to the park. I loved this tree house so much, we would play in it for hours. I climb the rope ladder when I’m on the deck I pull the rope ladder up so nothing else can get in. I spread out the sleeping bag and lay down on it, but I can’t sleep. I wanted mom, but she was gone, I was the only one alive, the only one who is still human at least that I know of. I cry myself to sleep.

Jason

I was just setting in my room chilling not do much and that’s when I hear something downstairs, I open the door to my room,

“Mom, dad? You guys ok? Do you need more chicken broth?” My parents had gotten the coronavirus thing and were very sick. I make my way downstairs. My partes are in the kitchen,

“I guess they needed more chicken broth after all” I mumble, I go into the kitchen, wow who died here? Then rotted for two thousand years! It smelled bad in here, I look at my parents but they’re not my parents, their skin is green, and their moaning. 

“Wow I guess you guys are sicker than I thought!” I say, I run back into the living room and grab the broom that was nearby. My parents shuffle into the living room, I whack my dad in the head with the broom, he moans some more,

“Listen I love you guys, but I don’t like the idea of becoming whatever you are right now” I say, I shove my parents in a closet, run upstairs and I pack some clothes, I run back downstairs and all the way to my buddy Ryan’s house.

        Ryan

I knew something was wrong the moment I saw my parent’s green skin and they were moaning, so I did what any typical teenage boy would do if his parents were green skinned and moaning, I locked them in the bathroom. Someone rang the doorbell, I opened it very carefully,  I saw a figure with dark brown hair and a wild look in his eyes, oh wait, it’s Jason never mind there’s no red alert we’re all good.

“Hey what’s wrong?” I ask,

“My parents are… are zombies! They had the coronavirus thing, and now they’re zombies! They’re green skinned, and moaning!”

“No way, you too!” Dude this is bad very bad, we have to get out of here!” Jason nods, he follows me to my room, I pack some clothes and we head out to the front door. On our way to the store we ran into a girl from our school, I think her name is Emliy. Her black hair was put up in a messy bun, she look really scared,   

                Emily 

I ran into two guys from my school, 

“Ok tell me if I’m going crazy but is this virus turning people into zombies!” I say, they both nod, one of the guys with black hair speaks up,

“Yeah, it’s freaky,” 

“I agree” said the other guy with dark brown hair. 

“Do…do you think we’re the only ones left” I ask,

“I don’t know, but I don’t like to be out in the open like this. Let’s find some shelter, and in the morning, we should go to the park, there’s a tree house, we’ll be safeer in there” said the dark haired guy,

“I’m Emliy, what’s your name?” I ask, 

“I’m Jason and this is Ryan” Says Jason, I followed the guys to the store, where we stocked up on food and some hand made weapons, 

“You two rest, I take the first watch” Says Ryan,

“No I’ll take the first watch” Jason said, they both get into an argument about who should take the first watch. I sigh,

“Enough! I’ll take the first watch you two sleep!” They agreed, I knew how to take charge, I didn’t know these two. All I knew is that they went to my school. They didn’t know me but they knew that I was dead serious. 

   Ava

I open my eyes only to see that it’s day, I get up a stretch. My stomach grumbles, I open my bag and find some pop tarts, I eat them all though I rather have eggs and bacon. Today was supposed to be a school day, but by the looks of things there’s not going to be a school day.  I put my bat into a homemade sheath I had made earlier since I could sleep. I drop the rope ladder and climb down it, hopefully zombies can’t climb. I walked out of the park, and back down to the store, I wanted some bottled water. When I go into the store I hear someone, I go into the aisle next to the one where I hear the noise, I pull my bat out prepared to attack, I was angry at the zombies, for eating my mother, and I was going to take my anger out on these brain eating bozos!  I charge, out into the next aisle,

“Ahhh” I yell.

Ryan
